What this site does with your input

The cube itself runs entirely in your browser — nothing about how you play (moves, time, camera angle) is sent anywhere or stored, unless you choose to submit a score to the leaderboard.

The leaderboard

If you choose to submit a score, we store: the nickname you type in, your move count, your solve time, which cube mode you played, and — only if you choose to add it — a social media handle. That's it. We don't ask for an email address, a password, or create any kind of account.

This information is public. Anything you submit to the leaderboard, including your nickname and social handle, is visible to anyone who views the leaderboard. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want publicly displayed, and don't use your real name if you'd rather not.

We may remove leaderboard entries at our discretion — for example, offensive nicknames or implausible scores.

Standard hosting logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information for every visit — IP address, browser type, and request timing — for security, fraud prevention and performance purposes.

Cookies & advertising

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve ads and measure their performance.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask what data is held about you and request its removal. Since leaderboard entries aren't tied to an email or account, we can only locate and remove an entry if you tell us the nickname and roughly when it was submitted. Contact hello@twistycube.co.uk.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience puzzle game. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children — the leaderboard nickname field shouldn't be used to submit a real full name or other identifying details.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the latest version.
